Several of the first buildings, like the Franklin Park Zoo Bear Pens, ended up left exterior the fence to rot. Strategies produced by the town to tear down the bear pens never came to fruition. So they continue to be, still left to the elements and curiosity seekers. Users of the general public are welcome to attend Basic and Committee conferences
